Cancer has a major genetic component, either familial/hereditary or acquired. This course will help physicians who encounter patients in everyday practice navigate this territory with new insight. What are the clues of an underlying genetic basis? How do you identify it? Who do you test and what do you do with the results? The goal of the course is to not make you an expert, but rather, put you in a better position to identify which patients and families need expertise for cancer genetics.
